What is Askroom Live?
A free web tool for live assessments, quizzes and polls. Every student answers on their own device and the teacher sees every answer as it arrives.

Who it is for
- School teachers, from kindergarten to grade 12
- Tutors, for one student or a small group
- Trainers and coaches running workshops
- Schools, for class tests and entrance tests
How it works
- The teacher builds an assessment: questions, polls, drawings, worksheets.
- The teacher presses "Go live" and shows a six-character join code.
- Students open askroomlive.com on any device, type the code and their name.
- Answers appear on the teacher's screen as students give them. Many are marked automatically.
What you need
- A teacher account (free).
- Students need only a browser on a phone, tablet, Chromebook or laptop. No app and no student account.
- A screen or projector is helpful but not required.
Made for every age
Young children get big buttons, questions read aloud, and can answer by tapping, drawing or speaking. Older students get a calmer look, a formula keyboard for maths and science, reading passages and exam mode.
